The sleeping mat is a kind of double air mattress with a foam core that inflates itself. As soon as the mat is rolled out and the two high-performance valves are opened, the open-pored PU core fills with air and the mat is ready for use. A tedious inflation is no longer necessary!
The construction of this mobile mattress consists of 4 parts, the foam core, the waterproof and airtight shell around the core, the outer cover and the valves.
The outer cover of the mattress is made of a high-quality soft-touch material. This material is anti-slip, water-repellent and very pleasant on the skin. The foam core consists of an open-pored polyurethane foam, which unfolds quickly through incoming air, but also allows this air to escape quickly when the camping mat is rolled up. To ensure that the sleeping mat is and remains airtight, the core is enclosed by a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) shell. Foam core, TPU shell and outer cover are fully bonded together. At the corners of the mattress there are 2 high-performance valves made of ABS plastic, which regulate the inflation and venting of the mattress. The desired hardness can be regulated by blowing in air through the mouth.
Due to the high-quality foam and a mat thickness of 7 cm, this sleeping mat offers a very high insulation against cold from the floor. The sleeping mat has an R-value of 6 and thus allows year-round use - even on cold nights and down to -22° C. A high R-value also stands for a pleasant sleeping comfort.
The lying surface of the  matt  is 198 cm long and 130 cm wide and therefore perfect for taller people. The sleeping mat is supplied with two compression straps and a practical transport bag with drawstring.
The Duo MaTT  is ideal as a bed when camping in a tent, for festivals, in the garden, as a beach mat, pad at a picnic or at home as a guest bed.
 
First use and repackaging
When used for the first time, it is normal for the foam to soak up air more slowly. To accelerate the initial expansion of the foam, some air can be blown into it by mouth. Please do not use an air pump, the pressure could damage the mat. Once the foam has become accustomed to the open form, the self-inflating process runs audibly and visibly faster. After use, turn the valves completely open, fold the mat once centrally in the longitudinal direction and kneel to the end without valves. Roll up the mat and pull the mat back towards your knees again and again. Make sure that you roll up the sleeping mat tightly and squeeze the air out. Close the valves, secure the rolled mat with the help of the two packing tapes and store the mat in the stuff sack.

Heat transfer coefficient, also called R-value, describes the insulation capacity of thermal air mattresses against rising cold from the floor.
The larger the R-value, the colder the floor on which the sleeping mat is used may be.

Soft Touch & Anti-slip Material
Front and back of the mattress are made of Soft Touch Pongee. This is very soft, skin-friendly and at the same time slip-resistant.
Thanks to the anti-slip property on both sides, the mat remains firmly on the surface without slipping. Your sleeping bag is also held securely on the top of the mattress.
